meatloaf

preheat oven to 350

3lbs ground meat
1 chopped onion
1 container mushrooms
lots of ketchup -I mean lots! 1/4 of a large bottle  family size
1 loaf rye bread cut into little cubes (yes the whole loaf) -from grammy
5 eggs
thyme dried
parsley (use fresh, not dried...it makes a difference),
garlic fresh cut up
fresh chopped marjoram (you can use dried),

mix until your hands hurt -squeeze through your fingers -meat will be cold and hurt your hands -don't stop keep squeezing!

put in a very large baking dish

wash your hands

in a bowl mix brown sugar, ketchup and apple cider vinegar

spoon on top off meatloaf

take bacon slices and place on top (use more than you think it will shrink while cooking)

cook for 1 hour

if you want to make it better you can fry in olive oil the onions, mushrooms and garlic first then let them cool and use in loaf also you can mix the eggs in a bowl if you want to

I just put eveything in and squeeze like crazy!
